In the snow spotlight this month is the “Powder Highway”, located in the Canadian wilderness.
The southeastern flank of British Columbia, is home to the Powder Highway: a route which connects 60 powder providers via a 630-mile loop. Added to this, the highway boasts the highest concentration of alpine resort, backcountry, cat, heli and nordic skiing/riding in the world.
The Duchies Do Ski ladies flew to Calgary to plunge into powder, and shared their shots with SnowSista.
The girls, Caroline and Julie met 7 years ago on a Dutch avalanche course and redefined their lives by becoming ‘ski journalists’ (a self-created title). Caroline is the photographer, Julie is the rider/writer and Len has joined as the third member, as a drone pilot.
Prepare for a portfolio of super-light, ridiculously fluffy powder photos (and serious envy) with their latest adventure in Canada.
